Hi all,
I have got the following question for you.
We have a live DMS setup which is up and running for the last year.It is 5.1 and we just received the upgrade cds to 5.2
I have upgraded all the live DMPs to 5.2 but in the next month we will implement some new ones. The new ones were shipped with 5.0 version,I know that i will have to upgrade them to 5.1 and then to 5.2.
Will we be able to upgrade(through the DMM) the newly added DMPs after we have upgraded both the DMM and VP to 5.2 OR do we need to upgrade each one individually by connecting directly to them?
Anyone out there facing the same issue?!!
Thank you guys.

The new DMPs (4400G) **should be** shipping with DMS 5.2. I would contact the supplier
or Cisco SE to see why they came with 5.0. The BEST way to upgrade the DMPs is
by the DMP-DM.
On another note, If the DMPs are indeed 5.0, you will need to upgrade the Kernel FIRST and then
Firmware next. Please verify the DMP Model numbers and versions prior to attempting
any upgrades.

Well, since i'm referring to an old order, all the DMP were originally shipped with 5.0 and some of them are still boxed.
Since we have upgraded the DMM to 5.2 all we did was to individually upgrade each DMP that is going to be implemented in the DMS from now on.
We ve tested it and it works fine.
