end-to-end transmission loss < -12dB

We are going to setup Cisco IP Phone in one location and integration with other remote PBXes are required. One of the requirement is to ensure end-to-end transmission loss of less than -12dB.

i) Can anyone advice how do I go about it ?

ii) is there a way to check from the IPPhone what is the current transmission loss ?
