Hi netpros,
I get this error on my Publisher's event viewer
DCOM was unable to communicate with computer SUBSCRIBER
The network looks fine, Configuration gets replicated well.
I'm running CCM4.1(3)sr2, currently upgrading to sr3a

Hi Joel,
1) You may check the hosts|lmhosts files in all the servers.
2) What exact Windows OS version are you using?
Please check it by c:\utils\mcsver.exe
3) About when has this error started appearing ?
4) Have you ever changed/added something in your CM cluster before the error occurrence? (such as service parameter change or configuration change, etc..)
5) During the error appearing, do you see high CPU utilization on Pub server?
Next step;
1) Have you tried Pub server to manual reboot? If not, please try it
2) The DCOM errors are caused by a MS bug documented here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q245197
Could you please try the solution step mentioned in the document?

Hi Gogasca,
Thanks a ton for your quick response, the microsoft bug helped me a lot, also the problem was solved as soon as the CCM4.1.3sr3a was installed, but I still made sure I checked your points.
Thanks!!
Joel
