Expressway XMPP Federation - Priority issue

Hi,

I have an issue when trying to federate Jabber with Skype via Expressway (XMPP federation).

For example, if the federated domain is : example.com

Nslookup _xmpp-server._tcp.example.com

primary.example.com Priority: 0 Port: 5269

backup.example.com Priority: 10 Port: 5269

The expressway will always contact: backup.example.com.

But it should be primary.example.com since the priority number is 0.

do you have Cisco CMS installed ? which version ?

what is your Expressway version ?

B2B federation with O365 or public skype is only possible with CMS, imp11.5su2, EXP8.9.

did you apply for Public federation to federate Skype with your EXPE server?

Hello,

It's not a complete Skpye for Business federation, only XMPP Presence/chat federation so no CMS.

My Expressway version is up to date: 8.9.2.

My problem, the expressway always target the SRV record with priority number higher (So priority lower).

Under same scenario i am also facing issues;

is it inter domain or intradomain ?

I dont think so im & p supports xmpp federation with skype for business, it supports sip federation 

can you provide the link for the document you followed for deploying ?
