Extension Mobility stability problem

I've Call manager 3.1 with extension Mobility enabled. It was working fine till now, made no changes but now when I select login, "host not found" error message is displayed for a few seconds and then "make a selection" is displayed. Some time no services not displayed .some other time I found host not found .These problems coming erratically.

After restart the WWW Publishing services .Extension mobility working for 1 or 2 days afterthat again we are facing same above problems.

But Able to connect to app-engine; even above problems there http://<ipaddress>:8080

Pls help me.To get the stability in extension Mobility.

Are you getting errors similar to the below in the w3svc logs on your CallManager when the failure occurs?

If so, then you may be hitting this:

CSCdv29329 - EM login service fails

Symptom:

EM login service intermittenly fails

Condition:

EM login service intermittenly fails. The problem seems to be an issue of the virtual directory in IIS failing

for some reason. No files may be returned from this particular virtual

directory by IIS, including standard .htm files, as well as .asp files.

All requests to the virtual directory which request a file receive a

HTTP 500 error (Internal Service Error), without further explanation.

Workaround:

The virtual directory will again function properly once IIS is restarted.
