Currently we're set up with "Start with first target" configuration,
rather than "Start with next target" option. We pre-route based
on LAA/MED. What are your feelings on the difference between the two.
I've had many discussions on this subject in the past. What does your
company prefer?
Thanks!

While granted it is not likely to happen you could get into a scenario in which the value you are evaluating would be equal across sites and calls would go to one site. We use "Start with Next Target" for the straight forward LAA/MED evaluations. We do use "Start with First Target" but only when we want to step through each possible destination based on the "ConsiderIf."

If you are trying to balance calls across two translation route pools that are going to the same destination and same skill group but different trunks, 'Start with Next Target' is useful to do this vs. percent allocation.
