Forward voicemail Message w/email text

I have unity users who take UM voicemail messages and using Outlook add text to the message and forward them to other unity users. Everything works well, EXCEPT, if the person is checking the message with a TUI, they are not aware of the text that was forwarded with the message and delete the message, completely unaware that there was text included.

Is there any way that any of the following can be accomplished:

1) the person can be notified of the text

2) the TTS engine "read" the user the text

3) the VMO form can be removed from the forwarded message

thanks

Currently, no... once a message is stamped with the message class of IPM.Note.Voice.Unity you can't "shake it off" from the desktop. Outlook will preserve the message class if you forward or reply to the message via Outlook - the VMO form extensions will be envoked for all messages with that message class, no way to work around it.

Unity does say "with attachments" for messages that have OTHER message classes that include parts we can't deal with over the phone but for reasons that are a bit of a mystery to me the voice messages do not do this - it simply plays all the WAV file attachments and moves on with life. There is an FFS on deck for handling multiple message types/attachments/folders and the like over the phone better however it is not on deck for the Coppola (4.0(1)) release of Unity this year. Hopefully it'll get into the next release, it's much needed for items just like this.
