I have an existing IP Telephony remote site with a PRI running MGCP and a centralized CM in the home office. We have an analog line coming from the PSTN that we are going to attach via a FXO port on a 3640 router that we want to send to the CM and let that number show up on a shared line for 2 IP phones. I need help understanding how to get the call from the FXO to CM to IP phones. This line will only have to receive calls and not send out, the outbound calls will be processed like the existing outbound calls at this site. I was also thinking about translating the number coming in to a 4-digit number that matches the current dial pplan in this remote site. Thanks for your help!
