Hello ,

I have a PBX and i want if there is a call that goes to FXS port to be converted by ATA to SIP or H.323 call to some ip phone in the ethernet. If this is possible where to find configuration to such scenario.

Thanks: Emil Slavov

not sure of your setup - you want the PBX to connect to the FXS port on ATA and then from there go via SIP or H323 to an IP Phone on the ethernet? In general ATA FXS ports connect to phones - they are however standard FXS interfaces - so a standards based FXO interface on PBX can connect to the ATA FXS port - there may be some issues as this is not what the ATA is designed for. FOr the VoIP side - is the IP Phone SIP or H323? Is there a H.323 gatekeeper or SIP proxy that the ATA needs to talk to? FOr more information on this:
