g729 support for the Ip Ivr.

Presently we have Ip ivr ver 2.0(2) which supports g711.This ivr located at india is getting accessed from US over 512 kbps iplc link.Over wan voice comes in g729 and then transcoded to g711 by voice access gateway module of Cat 4006 located in india.We have problem in the dsp resources(16 nos of channels only possible).We require which software ver ivr suports G729.

I have heard that g.729 support is on the roadmap for CRA (the new name for IP/IVR). I don't have a definite date. I heard something like second half of 2002. But that is always subject to change.
