Hold / Transfer features

Currently we are running CM3.09 using 6608 blade. Here's the story:

A call comes in, was answered, then put on hold. I come back to the call, and had to put the caller on hold again. However, the "hold" button would no longer work. The same thing happened on another call, but this time, I needed to transfer the call after the caller had been put on hold once. The transfer button wouldn't work(option not available). This problem only occurs sometimes. What could be causing this? Both of these instances occurred after the call had been answered, put on hold, accessed again, then tried to either put back on hold or transferred.

We may need to have TAC take a look at your CCM traces on a call like this to find out the real cause. But just one guess -- is it possible that you have call waiting enabled on these lines? Depending on how things are setup, you may not want to use that, and instead create multiple line instances if you need to be able to handle more than one incoming call at the same time... although that obviously depends on the customer requirement.

With CallWaiting enabled, the forward button will not work. This is listed as caveat CSCdt88683 and is fixed in 3.0(10)
