No you want to have the Access-list that is part of your VPN profile have an entry that covers the 2 subnets or hosts in question. That way the traffic gets encrypted. Remever that if you are doing this you need to not NAT that traffice so add a rule to you NAT bypass.
access-l vpn permit ip (Local subnet) (remote subnet)
access-l nonat permit ip (Local subnet) (remote subnet)
