How does CCM generate the calling party ring sound?

I am not talking about the ring tones (which are modified using ringlist.xml) but the noise that the calling party hears when calling any other phones (whether they be on the PSTN or on the local network).

I have a project where I need to make that noise the hold music for a specific device pool. I was thinking if I could capture it somehow, or figure out how the CCM generates that noise and copy it - it would save me a lot of trouble. Is is possible that there's an audio file on the CCM with that noise in it?

Thanks in advance!

Noise are typically generated locally by the DSPs residing in our IP phones. So it may not be possible to record it unless you use

the 'headset' plug and record using any sound record application like 'windows sound recorder'.
