Hi
I have a potential cisco voice soloution for a office in our organisation. However they have old IBM type1 cabling with 100Meg Baluns, whats my options? or is it a non starter for ip telephony.

Usually IP telephony uses fastEthernet, you can use some solution as given in the below document.
Now new standards like IEEE 802.1af and inline power utilises ethernet cabling .
