I want to test VoIP on green site before installation, any suggestions

Hi I have an existing site where we plan to roll out cisco voice. I would like to be able to run some voice tests over the LAN. Does anyone know of freeware software that can do this? i am not looking for exhaustive tests but a good indication of response jitter etc.

It is an open source network monitoring/graphing tool.

Thanks for the link. I was not aware of the RTR command on the router so need to do some reading on this before i start palying with Cacti.
