Is there anywhere where I can download SP2 for IE5.5 to CD. Microsoft's website only allows for the SP2 to be installed from their website. This is a pain if we are installing unity 3.12 and its does not have internet access. It now has happened to me twice. <br><br>

You can get it here from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ie55sp2/download.asp
You should have SP2 on the Internet Explorer 5.5 disc that ships with Unity too. It's in the i386 directory.

That link will not allow me to download the entire SP2. It will just download the ie5.5 sp2 setup program. Therefore I cannot get it onto disk. If I am in a situation where I am upgrading to 3.12 with no internet access. I would be in trouble.
I looked on the IE CD that ships with Unity 3.02. Don't really see the file in the i386 directory.

YOu might try this...
When you're downloading - go to "Customize my installation" rather than normal/default - then on the product selection screen - select the "Advanced" button and select "only download (don't install"
It will ask you where to save the files and auto-download the whole package.
Takes a few minutes - but well worth it...
ALternatively of course you could do the same thing (with a little more effort and with the possibility of customizing your browser) with the IEAK at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ieak/default.asp

I actually have found a solution - It is described in Microsofts knowledge base article Q257249. It is possible to download ie6 and ie5.5 sp2 for all platforms to use at a later date.

I checked into this and service pack is automatically installed when you install Internet Explorer 5.5 from the Cisco Unity compact disc set.
