Incoming hunt group call notification

Hi,

I am using CME3.3 with my ip phones configured to be members of different Hunt Groups. What I would like to configure is that when an incoming call is displayed on the phone it also gives an indication of which hunt group was called. Each hunt group is associated with a different external number, is this possible?

You might want to try running the called number through a translation pattern before it reaches the hunt group pilot point. In the translation pattern you could change the calling number (caller ID) to something that would indicate what hunt group is being called. I would probably change it to be the number dialed so the person answering the call can look at the caller id and see what hunt group was called. I have not tried this myself so it is just an idea...
