Incorrect extn number sent to Octel voicemail.

Hi

We have CM 4.1.3 integrated to an Octel Voicemail using a VG248 (Analogue ports and SMDI)

The analogue ports are all in a hunt group.

When a user goes to check their voice mail and the first voicemail port is busy the first voice mail port clid is sent to the octel mail system rather than the originating extension number.

I tried changed the options on the DN config page for the vm ports Forwarded call information display without any success.

We have 12 voice mail ports in all cases we want the orginal extn number sent to the voicemail box within the octel rather than the voicemail port extn number.

Why do a I feel I am missing something obvious here.

Can someone help. Thanks

Steve

Typically, a voice mail system is configured with a single Message Desk Number (normally 1), and incoming SMDI messages are required to use this value for proper operation. You need to set the message desk number on the VG248 to match the value used by the voice mail system.
