Inline power problems

We have a mixture of Cisco 3560 and 4507 switches all with inline power. We have implemented a Siemens Hipath IP Telephony solution using their Optipoint 410 phones. We are having problems with the inline power. As they don't negotiate properly we used the power inline commands on the 4507s and set the power to 4W which works fine. However, it doesn't work properly using the 3560s unless you use version 12.2(20)SE Enhanced image. This allows you to set a global power inline command and then apply the power inline command to each interface as required. This global command is missing in the Standard image at 12.2(20)SE and also at the Standard and Enhance images at version 12.2(25). On these versions, if you set the interface power inline command to anything less than 15.4W you get the message about inline power being denied. Anyone had a similar problem with non-Cisco IP phones or have a solution? It currently means we can only use 24 out of 48 interfaces on each 3560 beacuse it uses 15.4W per interface.

I understand that this is a Cat4K command, and is not supported on the 3560. The command 'power inline {auto [max(max-wattage)] | never | static [max (max-wattage)}' will be as you rightly pointed out introduced into 12.2(25)SE.
