We recently had an employee shuffle and one of the girls that was a receptionist is no longer doing reception. She was replaced with another employee and she was given the receptionist's 7861 phone and it is working great. i have it in her name and all is well until i try to register the UAC with the Registration key sent to me from Cisco. Since it is a different extension (but it was being used before so it has the same Mac address) does Cisco have to reassign the LAC to this new extension or is there something i am missing? I appreciate your help in advance.
Thanks
Rick

Sorry to reply to my own case but I received an answer from TAC that solved the problem. updating this with the new info in case anyone else has this same problem.
Hi Rick,
I was able to reset XXX- XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XX. You can now re-register this LAC with the correct Machine Code at www.cisco.com/go/ac. Log in, then select "Activate Purchased Software". Input the LAC mentioned above, and the correct Machine Code found in CUAC-Standard. After registering the LAC you will be emailed the license file to upload to the CUAC machine.

Did this fix the issue? I'm getting same thing with flex license on version 11, upgraded to 14 same thing even after TAC reset the license file. Not sure why it won't license.
