IOS Version

I am currently running a 2621 with version 12.2(8)T5, with 2 FXS ports.

On no regular basis, the fXS ports need to be shut/no shut. They are in service, and no errors are generated?

Any ideas???

Chris,

There have been numerous voice/DSP issues fixed in newer 12.3/12.3T code. Chances are you're running into a bug of some sort. I would look at upgrading to the current 12.3T.

Be careful with anything less than 12.2(15)T1. Several critical voice processing bugs were fixed in this release in preparation for branching to 12.3M.

I would agree with the other post, migrate to at least the latest 12.3M (Mainline) which is essentially the latest 12.2T or, if you are really agressive, try the latest 12.3T (which is currently 12.3(8)T3).

You are running an IOS release that is at least 15 major builds behind in bug fixes.
