Hi folks,
I'm dewploying an IP Telephony solution between 2 sites. The WAN link is a Satellite connection which has 512 Kb b/w, and the delay is about 550ms. The problem is that the quality of the voice is not the best, when making calls from the remote location to the PSTN, through the WAN link. However when I make phone calls between extensions using the same WAN link the voice quality is good.
I have the following scenario:
CCM1(cluster)--C3745---WAN---C3725---CCM2(cluster)
I have connected an E1 line and FXO lines to the C3745.
Have you ever deployed a solution like this, using a satellite link??
Any suggestions??
