IPPhones sending packet to 0.0.1.1 in port 2000

Hi All,

I have a CCM and few phones on same LAN, the phone are working and i can make calls, but on my firewall i get a lot of packets sent with source ip address of the ipphones with destination 0.0.1.1 and port 2000.

has anyone face this problem?

any idea why the phone would send packets to 0.0.1.1?

As you probably already know, the phones attempt registration to CM on TCP port 2000. Perhaps there's something in your CM list that would compel the phone to attempt registration to 0.0.1.1?

What are the fields for "Call Manager [1-5]" in your phone under Settings -> Network Configuration?
