Hello,

Is there a new Jabber for Nokia client or is one in development? I notice that Cisco has announced EOL for Nokia Call Connect and Cisco Mobile for Nokia.

Hi Sandy,

At this time we don't have any Jabber client for Nokia devices.  As you correctly pointed out, we EOS'd the Symbian clients in July 2012.

Not at this time - we are closely monitoring market share and customer adoption / demand for Nokia devices however and plan to adjust if we start to see sufficient demand.

At this time, we don't have plans to support Windows Mobile 8.  However, we will continue to monitor the customer adoption on this platform and adjust our plans as needed based on the demand.

I think that Jabber for Windows phone is a good idea.

Read between the lines on what we are asking

Jabber for everything should be your strategy Cisco, not a canned answer from the desk of:

Another vote for Jabber on Windows Mobile.  Intriguing phone for a lot of other reasons - i.e. sync with all my enterprise applications.
