Currently, Cisco only supports routing functionality in the JTAPI callcenter package. Does Cisco intend to support ACD functionality ? This would allow a smaller scale ACD to be developed for small businesses without the high cost of a full ACD.

I think this can be handled byCisco IP Contact Center (IPCC) . It delivers intelligent call routing, network-to-desktop CTI, and multimedia contact management to contact center agents over an IP network. By combining software ACD functionality with IP telephony in a unified solution, IPCC enables helps in deploying a distributed contact center infrastructure.

My point is that I don't want to have to purchase IPCC. Does Cisco intend to support the callcenter JTAPI package without having to purchase additional equipment ? This would allow smaller scale ACD's to be developed.
