Dear Friends
Please suggest methods/resources to implement least cost routing of VOIP calls, such that the VOIP Gatekeeper interact with Billing Server, which has information of all rate plans, and decide the destination VOIP GW/E1 Ports to hand over the call to a specific Basic Service/Access Provider which provides the better rate at that moment.
Thanks & Regards
Shailendra

Usually it is cheaper to aggregate all your PSTN minutes to 1 carrier.
By the time you try and figure out all the least paths you can find a carrier for 2-6cents/minute. If you do it yourself you have more hardware spread out, higher costs of ownership, etc.
You have intra-lata and other issues. Their are companies that publish cd-roms of tarrif tables, etc. Your subscription cost more than the benefit.
From a international standpoint you have to worry about completion rates, etc. So Sprint may have a better rate, yet none of the calls will complete other than AT&T.

We have a product that in final beta at the moment. It run on a SUN Solaris platform, does SS7, H323 gateway, billing and LCR.
Its unfortunally geared for large carriers and not individual or Enterprise users.
