License upgrade

I attempted to upgrade the license on a Unity 2.4.6.135 server from 4 port to 16 port, however, afterwards Unity showed zero ports and zero licensed features. I was able to go back to the 4 port key. Quite likely I did something wrong, where can I find instructions for successfully upgrading the license? I looked in the docs on the cd and regarding license upgrades the helpful info "For information about adding licenses or features to the system<br>key, contact your Unity dealer." was all I found.<br><br>

There should be a .TXT file with the upgrade code that can be scanned from the Upgrade License utility. Entering the entire string manually can be a chore & making a mistake could cause problems like the one you describe. Each upgrade code is for a specific system serial number, so make sure your key (dongle) matches your upcode. If there are problems with what seems to be a valid license upgrade, open a case with TAC.
