I use SC2200 (using Netra 1400) for VoIP. How to set the SC2200 so CDR files older than certain date are automatically purged.

There's no such option in the software. But you can write your own unix script to delete the files or mv the files to your disk storage.
The reason why it was designed this way is because you're supposed to connect sc2200 to a downstream billing system like BAMS, so the CDR binary files will
be converted to desired format, after transfer successfully, it gets deleted automaticly.

Anyway to convert the CDR binary files on the sc2200 before transferring?

You need to buy Cisco BAMS, once configured it will automatically retrieve the CDR from PGW(SC2200) and renamed the cdr file by adding suffix (.finished).The new files can then be deleted at predefine time based on the setting of dmprSink on the PGW.

What about the cdr_*.bin files that we have already copied off the SC2200? Will BAMS be able to convert those files?
