I am seeing elevated call manager temps reported by ITEM in the 35-40 (C) range. Alarms are set to 30 by default, and 35 is the published maximum. The IPT rack has 8 MCS7835's stacked up with no spaces in-between. We've decreased datacenter environment temp, removed rack panels and put a fan blowing directly on the rack.
In past and similar deployments, temp has also been an ongoing concern.
Is there a portion of the design guide that specifies rack density for 7835's or maximum abmient temp for the evironment? Also, does anyone know of unpublished operating maximums?
