We are going to deploy two MCUs in our network. These two MCUs register with the same gatekeeper,
If one MCU goes down, we can redial the service prefix and this video call can be redirected to the backup MCU.
If these two MCUs are configured with the same service prefix, Once a video endpoint dials in, which MCU the gatekeeper will choose?

Configure the MCUs to work in stack mode. Refer to User guide for the configuration steps http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/video/ps1870/products_user_guide_chapter09186a008007d5ca.html#xtocid2

Thanks thomas, Stacking can increase the processing resources . but once the MC goes down, who can perform the MC function? I am looking for a MCU redundancy solution.

The link listed above is a dead link.
We also have 2 MCUs (one a 3515 MCU12 and the other a IPVC 3545). Is there still a way to stack MCUs?
