MediaMaster PlayRec greyed out

I am on Unity 3.1.2b, we are connecting to an Exchange 5.5 server with the Exchange admin tools only on the Unity server. When I look at the Greetings for CallHandlers and Subs while at the server I am presented with the oportunity to playback and record, however if I go to any workstation the options for those are greyed out. I found an article that seemed promising, http://avforums.isomedia.com/cgi-bin/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=unityent&Number=9249&Search=true&Forum=unityent&Words=media master &Match=Entire Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=9245 but it is for 2.x and I do not find an exchsvr/res directory to check for permissions as mentioned in that article. Is there a new directory I should be looking for and sharing? Has everything changed and I need to look at something else? There are no firewalls between the workstations and the unity server and infact I am able to get into SAWEB no problem.
Thanks

Anthony Duval
Systems Engineer
Special Order Systems
aduval@team-sos.com
In Unity 3.x we don't use that RES directory any longer, all greetings and voice names are stored in the \commserver\streamfiles directory. The share is no longer needed, that shouldn't be the issue.

check that you don't have ActiveX control disabled on the client's box any longer or something along those lines...

I checked the settings on the browser and ActiveX is allowed. The MediaMaster shows up fine on the server but any remote computers the recording controls are grey.

Is it just the recording buttong that's gray or the entire media master control is gray (i.e. you can't play greetings OR record them)?

Correct. Media bar options appear but the play/record buttons are greyed out. Weird.

Jeff,

I am also experiencing this issue with 3.15- was there a solution. I have ensured active x is enabled. It works on the server with no problems, just on remote machines.

any ideas/

thanks.
