Hi There
Just to inquire, meet-me function was newly setup. Lately, when the meet-me phone conference is initiated, and after several hours, no one join in, the conference bridge timed out.
Is this behavior normal? If no, how can I make it stay up for as long as possible? If yes, is there any Cisco document confirming this behavior?

Ram

Meet-me as any other call is subject to the maximum call time service parameter, you'll neeed to change it to the maximum possible.
By default it's 720 minutes.

Hi Jamie
I understand that the Meet-me session cannot be left on for 24/7/365 days, as the default value is 720 minutes / 12 Hours. Can I change the default value to 0? After all, 0 will disable the timer. Would this work? If no, can I set the maximum to 35791 minutes i.e. 25 days? If yes, what are the implications of such settings, if any?
I believe to change the settings, the steps are defined here;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/5_0_1/ccmcfg/b03meet.html
In fact, there's another similar case https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/321831
Can I conclude that the Meet-me session cannot be left on for 24/7/365 days? The maximum is only 25 days? Can I use the value 0?

Ram

CUCM is not meant to be a conferencing system if that's what you're looking for, it's just one of the features it provides.
Yes, it's not meant to run forever.
Neither meet-me nor ad=hoc are meant for that.
