We are having a bit of trouble getting the above configuration working. The teloc provider isn't helping much, do we need to setup an E&M, FXS or FXO service. The only thing the telco says is NO CRC4 (done) and we need to install as a slave to their master under ISDN but when installing MGCP this option isn't available.

Are you working with Callmanager?
here is the configuration it works in my network:
mgcp
mgcp call-agent 10.0.0.1 service-type mgcp version 0.1
mgcp dtmf-relay voip codec all mode out-of-band
isdn switch-type primary-net5
!
controller E1 1/0
pri-group timeslots 1-31 service mgcp
!
interface Serial1/0:15
no ip address
no logging event link-status
isdn switch-type primary-net5
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn T310 120000
isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager >>> for working with CCM
no cdp enable
Do you know the switch-type you should configure?
the default of the user/network side is user, you can see it
"isdn protocol-emulate ? "
hope it helps...

I have a primary-net5 type switch, I do use CCM have configured as you suggested, but am unable to complete the following
pri-group timeslots 1-31 service mgcp
the only option I have after 1-31 is nfas_d
The system I am setting up it a ICS 7750 which has a MPR200 router controller e1 is in slot 0/0
I also cannot bind the isdn to the ccm manager as you do I am running version 12.2

I would try to check the ios issue... probably not support mgcp,
and also try to set no-crc4, i had some cases where the PSTn ask for no_crc but eventually i had to set with crc.
Avi.

I can work it out from here with just one bit of assitance when you type in the show voice port command what type of line signals do you get, I presume you are connected to a telco, in the uk, or is the switch connected to a PABX.
thanks
