MOH Audio Translator not converting file

When I drop an .mp3 file into the "dropMOHAudioSourceFilesHere" location, the file is not converted. I checked the Service on the server and the Cisco MOH Audio translator status is "started". Do I need to stop and restart the service? Will anything else be affected if I stop and start the service?

You can try restarting the service. There is no impact. However you don't want to drop a file in there if the callmanager in question does call processing as the cpu will spike to 100% until the file is converted.

Turns out that with 3.3 (2) spC, you cannot drag and drop the file. You must copy and paste it. If you drag and drop it, the file appears to be "open". If you copy and paste, it doesn't and it gets processed. Also, I had to copy a second file to the "drop" file in order to get the first to go.
