MWI and CCS issue

Folks,

I have a 7940 phone which has 2 lines (same extension) in different paeritions. Line 1 is in partition 1 and line 2 is in partition 2.

I am very surprised to find out that when someone leaved a message for me, the MWI lights up. I do not have any CCS or Partioned defined on the Voice mail ports or the MWI. Then how can Voice Mail ports reach partion 1 or partion 2???

What version of CCM?

If VM ports do not have any CSS, how would Unity light ANY phones at all? On Unity, try using TRaP to see if you can get Unith to dial to the phones.

If the MWI On and MWI Off DN's have None for the CSS then it won't be able to light MWI on the phone. Did you recently change the Partition on the phone? If so, did you reset it?

You will need to look at Detailed CCM traces to see what is happening. This will show this dialing partition used.
