MWI and VMO

When a new message is recived in the inbox the mwi goies off as if the message has been listened to. The mwi does turn on when the message is left but as soon as the message is delivered, the light goes off. We are using outlook for our exchange 5.5 mail services.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something silly....but could someone help keep the mwi light on even after the mail is delivered. btw..this only happens for one user...not the entire organization

Check to see if the client has any rules setup in Outlook that move messages around. For MWI to work properly, the voice mail messages need to reside in the user's inbox on the Exchange server, not something like another folder or a PST file.
