Hi ,
I have jst got an E1 PRI line of 20 channels and a block of 200 numbers starting from 24642100 to 24642299 from the voice service provider. The service provider is sending me the last 3 digits. My IP phones have a starting DN from 5000 to 5050. I also have an E1 PRI trunk with the PBX , call-manager controlled on the same MGCP router and configured as network side. I want to assign the first 50 DID numbers from the service provider to my IP Phones and the remaining 150 block of numbers to the PBX phones. The extensions numbers for the PBX phones starts from 1000 to 1150.
Currently from my IP Phones, I directly dial the 4-digit PBX extensions and it work fine. Also from the PBX phones, I first dial 6 , then the DN 5XXX and can call the IP Phones.
Now my requirement is that I need to get the DID configured for both the IP Phones and PBX side. Need some advice on how I can configure the translation patterns on my CM 4.1 to get the above solution working.
Thanks
Renzil
