I have a little viking RAD-1 device that used to be connected to a standard POTS/Centrex line. Worked perfectly. Took it off the POTS, and put it behind a VG248 and the device will not answer. Punch down a POTS line to it, it answers on the 1st ring. I can't imagine what would be the difference. Both devices are sending voltage to signal a call. As a matter of fact, the paging adapter has a little orange light that you can watch. The orange light lights up, but again, the adapter does not answer. I've put analog phones off the end to make sure the cabling is good. The unit uses standard loop start circuits as stated in the docs. Any ideas?

The idle line voltage on the VG248 is only -36....and apparently I can't change it. Any suggestions? I was thinking of changing the country settings to that of a country with higher ring voltage...but I'm scared I'll fry the paging adapter! What do you think?
