Is there some type of software that Cisco has that would allow a PC to answer phone calls.
We have a VOIP system managed by our ISP, but we need to set up some sort of call center. We don't need anything big and fancy but what we would like to do is have it so when a client calls in on a certain number, the ISP's equipment can route the call to a client PC that would have some type of software installed that would be able to answer the call through her PC using a microphone.
The ISP's equipment would be able to pick IP addresses out of a pool of available ones.
Anyway, is this something like this possible? Thanks.
