Does Cisco have a recommendation about whether PCAnywhere should/should not be used on CallManagers??

Is that the recommended way to manage CallManager servers?

Apart from Unity where PcAynwhere is the approved way of remote mgmt I do not think there are any such requirements for CCM.
However, terminal services is the norm and TAC is yet to say " no don't do that or else.........."
Worse case scenario raise a tac case enquiring, this way you've made it official and please let us know.

As a Linux user, I have run VNC for 18 months on 3 different versions of Call Manager, no problems.
I would love it if Cisco would wean themselves off of Microsoft's Java. At least make the web management useable thru Netscape. (hint hint Cisco)

PCAnywhere is not supported. Windows Terminal Services are.

VNC is automagicaly installed with the windows 2-2 and the 2-3 upgrades from cco . They still need to get set up and configured but thats it . CCM supports VNC.
Plus it is much better that Terminal Services and PCAW

Thanks for this. Can you point me at a config crib-sheet for configuring VNC?
