I just bought a Polycom FX that can do the multicasting to the IP/TV viewer. Can I get it to show up on Content Manager? How?
Thanks!

Steve,
I work with a number of Polycom devices and am pretty familiar with the FX. I know that the FX documenation is also somewhat confusing. In that it states the IP/TV view will work for streaming video, multi-casting etc. but with the installs and testing that I have done, only the Apple Quicktime viewer as a browser plug in works. If you find something else out I would be very interested in knowing.
thanks

I was also unbale to get IP/TV to work with polycom Viewstation FX. Only Apple Quick Time worked for viewing through the browser even after following the instructions from polycom.
I would be very much interested in your findings
thanks

Sounds like a question to Polycom as well!

Got it to work!
Configure the Content Manager to produce the IP multicast address manualy. Then plug those IP address and ports into the FX. Bingo..everything works.
