I'm working a prepaid calling card application.
I just have a new T1 - PRI installed. In order to identify calls made from payphone, I need to receive extra 2 digits and add them to DNIS. This extra 2 digits is known as OLI, Origination Line Info.
So the DNIS that I'm looking for will look something like this:
DNIS = OLI (2 digits) + DNIS (10 digits)
i.e. if customers call toll free 8002223333 to use calling card from payphone, I want to receive DNIS as 708002223333.
1.) How do I configure AS5350 to get the above DNIS? Right now I only receive 800xxxxxxx for DNIS.
2.) How do I verify that the telco has passed me the OLI digits?
Thanks,
Siwat

You must configure the Cisco IOS gateway to support the switch variant from which the gateway receives ISDN switch.
