When you configure DHCP to provide multiple TFTP IP
addresses to end devices, what steps do you need to
take if you only have one cluster?
SRND and other CCO documentation have examples for
multicluster CCM implementations and do state that
"Two TFTP servers can be configured in a cluster,
and each can create and manage separate lists of the
same configuration files. . ." But I cannot find any
examples for a single cluster.
Is it as simple as enabling the TFTP service on two
CCM servers?
Or do you need to adjust the Alternate TFTP entries
like you would in a multi-cluster environment?
Thanks

Just enable the TFTP service on another server in your cluster.
The system will take care of the rest.

Hi,
DHCP server gives TFTP server list when assigning IP address to IP Phones.
I believe it can give multiple TFTP servers IP addresses during assignment. So, it's the responsibility of IP Phone to contact another TFTP server if primary server fails.
Thank you,
