send text alerts to 7960 IP phones

Hi,

just wondering how I go about sending text messages to IP phones. That is, I wanted to uitilize the IP phones to broadcast text messages to all IP phones.

Is this possible on the IP phones??

This is possible, but you need to either produce your own xml application or use a third party product.

A couple of resources you can look at are berbee.com or checkmate.co.uk

IP ZonePage from Norstan will do this. It will also allow voice paging out of the IP phone
