Setting up ip telephony

HI

I am new to the cisco IP telephony (voice,video).

I would be most glad if some one could help me out or give me a link on the equipment needed (software, hardware) on setting up a cisco IP telephony soloution. Is there a book out there that would help me get to know the devices and soloutions cisco offers.??
