stand alone DMP 4310 - how to play test content from usb_1

I have loaded via FTP a file called test.mpg to /usb_1 and have tried to play it unsuccessfully using the web gui 'display actions' 'media playback'

protocol file://  media url  file:///usb_1/testmpg

what am i doing wrong please?

Hello,

To correct your problem use the format: /tmp/ftproot/usb_1/test.mpg

under "Play Media File Stored Locally" display action.

I am trying to upload a file to a DMP 4305G. I am new to Digital Media Players. Kindly advise how do you transfer the file to the DMP? I have connected the DMP to the network.

What command should I type to transfer the file?

I need some help with this, I just purchased 2 4305G units.  Can I just use a server from one location to power 2 units in different locations/?  What software do I need? Or can I just use a flash drive or hard drive via USB?  Can I schedule items to play from that?
