I have a Cisco site that is connected into a networked PBX system. I have loop start CO lines coming into the site with dual tone mid-call supervision. Supervision works properly and I get timely FXO release on call to a phone at the site. If CallManager forwards the call into the PBX's voice mail, the voice mail system doesn't see the far-end hang-up. It seems like supervision is not being forwarded. Currently I'm using MGCP, and will be going to H.323. The CallManager definition for the ports is loop start. Is there anything that I need to do for MGCP to solve this, and will switching to H.323 help? The system lloks like this:
PSTN --- FXO 2620 (MGCP) --- CallManager (3.2.1) --- VG200 (H.323) --- PBX
