I have a user inquiring about catching a call after it has gone to voice
mail.Some systems allow you to hear the calling party leaving the message
if you wish, and then if you want to take the call you can cut in and
answer.
Is this option currently available on this system or can it be made
available?

No... that feature is not currently available in Unity. I don't see it on the work queue list for the next version either. As usual, you'll need to communicate such feature requests to your account team so they can enter them in PERS to get consideration for addition into the product.

The feature is not currently available, nor is it in the works for the next release of Unity (Cisco folks feel free to correct me if I am wrong). I have heard a few people ask about it, so I would put the request through your Cisco Channel and have a PERS request placed. Also if a deal is going to be lost because of this, then let your Cisco rep know the size of the deal as well.
