I have already seen a similar issue on the forum however I think my question is slightly different.
I have configured a TCCS between a 3620 and a 3640 (release 12.1T). I'm trunking 15 channels only with one clear channel (signalling one).
Well, also during the night the CPU usage on the 3620 is constantly at 60%. Looking in detail at the processes I cannot find anyone consuming so much and so I would like to understand if there are limitiation issue on some hardware or if I'm hitting a bug.

Do you have VAD disabled? This might be one explaination. TCCS should not use that much processor. Also check to be sure that you are bcef or fast switching and not process switching. You may want to use the 'voice vad-time' command, to disable vad for active calls, but enable it on the unused channels.

Very interesting especially the vad-time command that I sincereley didn't know.
However to answer your request I confirm that I have VAD disabled since customer doesn't like the "silence" he hears when speaking (I don't understand why comfort noise sometime it's not present).
And I took care already that fast switching is enabled. I have tested also CEF but I saw that 3620 doesn't like it so much in terms of CPU.

FYI, the voice vad-time command was introduced for just this type of scenario.
You would want to enter the voice vad-time command first, then re-enable vad on the dial peers. You will need to flap the trunks once so that they read the new vad parameters.
