The language defined as 'DEA' is not loaded

Hi ,

I have just installed a new MCS7827 with Unity 3.1.3 into a existing AD.

So far no problem .

The integartion with CCM 3.2.2a into the AD and Unity is also OK.

When I now press the "MESSAGE Button " on a CP 7960 which is a unity user the message " SORRY, THE SYSTEM IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE

MOMENT, TRY LATER" is playd by the System and then hangs up.

I have installed the ENU Language but in the Error Log Unity seems to search for the DEA language. Why?

The directory on the server is D:\CommServer\Localize\Prompts\ENU

Also in the SAWEB GUI/ Phone Language selection there is no language loaded.

Here are the logs :

1. CAvPhraseServerMgr::CreatePhraseServerSU - The language defined as 'DEA'is not loaded

2.Thread 0x0000087C] CAvCDEConvBase::InitPhraseServerSU() error from

CreatePhraseServerSU for conversation [SubSignIn:AvSubSignIn:DEA].

3.Thread 0x0000087C] AvCDEConvBase::Run() error from InitPhraseServersSU()in conversation [SubSignIn] on Device ID [1]

4.Transferred to FailSafe conversation while running conversation SubSignIn

on Port 1. See the following file for the contents of the Named Properties :

D:\CommServer\logs\NPDump_20020710_152741.txt

5.The conversation [Failsafe] could not find the file

[D:\CommServer\Localize\Prompts\DEA\AvFailure\FailsafeDEA.wav].

Can you check the language settings on the Configuration \ Phone Languages and GUI Languages page in the SA? If they aren’t showing properly there you can check in the registry under the HKLM\Software\Active Voice\SystemParameters\1.0 key… there should be several GUI and TUI language values under there.

If the default TUI languages are ENU and ENU is properly loaded, try adding this key:

HKLM\ SOFTWARE\ Active Voice\ CDE\1.0\”RetryDefaultLanguage”

The RetryDefaultLanguage should be a DWORD and set it to 1… this will force Unity to retry the phrase using the default fallback language even if the language the user is set to is not loaded.

It could be that your subscribers/handlers somehow or another got set to use a language that is not loaded on the system… that would give you this behavior. If you don’t have multiple languages loaded, though, this shouldn’t be possible via the SA anyway…

HI Jeff,

As you recomended I created the value

HKLM\ SOFTWARE\ Active Voice\ CDE\1.0\”RetryDefaultLanguage” with the 1 as DWORD and rebooted the server .

Everything works fine now !!!!!!!!!!

THANKS for your help,

Markus
